New Implementation
A "Next-Generation ERP" for all business needs
Function and process optimisation
"New implementation" in the sense of a "greenfield approach" means the migration from a non-SAP/legacy ERP environment to an SAP S/4HANA target landscape, or also the migration from an SAP landscape (e.g. ERP 6.0) to an SAP S/4HANA target landscape. The target landscape can be an on-premise, public or private cloud landscape. For each of these scenarios, the project goal is always to make the best possible use of the possibilities of optimised functionality and process handling as well as the SAP Fiori user experience in the SAP S/4HANA target environment.
Process design
Reengineering and process simplification in the target landscape are achieved through process design based on SAP best practices. These are preset and proven processes based on many successful SAP implementations that can either be adopted or extended/adapted.
The basics for this, as well as missing deltas, are jointly developed in the project in fit-gap workshops in "show-and-tell" sessions during the EXPLORE phase; the implementation takes place in the REALIZE phase in agile sprints.
Documentation
For a successful implementation of the end-to-end (E2E) processes, the SAP Activate implementation method provides a large pool of documentation (including customising, test scripts and process diagrams, etc.) that only needs to be modified.
The use of the SAP Activate method leads to a considerably shorter project duration and thus to significantly lower implementation costs.
Another advantage of this "new implementation" approach is the technically simplified adoption of future innovations.
